Voici une première série de documents rarissimes sur la lutte et le catch en France dans les années 50; la qualité des photos est excellente: je les laisse dans leur format initial; aucun nom d' agence n' apparait sur ces clichés.
Ici s' opposent André Drapp, excellent lutteur et catcheur très populaire en France et même aux Usa à un catcheur, qui eut une carrière plus courte, Lucky Simunovitch.
Il s' agit d' un spectacle mais d' un véritable spectacle sportif, beaucoup plus proche de la lutte que du cirque actuel.

This is the first part of the presentation of very, very rare documents about wrestling, pro and amateur, in France in the 50's; as the quality of the photos is great, I let them in their original size; no name of agency on the photos.
Here  André Drapp, a good professionnal wrestler, popular in France and even in States, has for opponent Lucky Simunovitch.
Of course it is a show but a real athletic show, close to wrestling and far from the actual circus of prowrestling.
