I have choosen this pic because it is a very rare and expressive wrestling pic: it has been taken during one of the two famous bouts between two great champions, Hackenschmidt and Gotch, both won by Gotch; you may see Hackenschmidt, under, dominated and exhausted and Gotch on top, almost smiling, is working over his opponent.
J' ai choisi ce cliché car c'est un document très rare, très démonstratif de la lutte: il a été pris durant l' un des deux combats entre deux grands champions, Hackenschmidt et Gotch, tous ceux remportés par Gotch; on peut deviner que le russe est épuisé et dominé tandis que dessus Gotch, presque souriant, travaille son adversaire.
